Social Service Internship
Social Service is an opportunity for you to develop and transcend by sharing your talents, skills, and knowledge for the benefit of society. At VICSA, we seek to make it a unique experience for you.
We want your philosophy of life to be shaped by an attitude of service and commitment to the most disadvantaged members of society, increasing your potential to change your milieu so that you become a transforming leader in the service of your community.
If you belong to the programs of Biomedical Engineering, Nutrition, Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Psychology of Work and Organizations, your social service consists of the following:
- Register and take 20 hours of the Social Formation Workshop class (you must have 132 credits to do so). The Social Formation Workshop aims to raise awareness and awaken critical awareness of global needs and encourage active participation in the sustainable development of their environment. There you will find different alternatives of social action institutions where you can perform your social service.
- Complete 480 hours in an institution authorized by the UDEM in a period of at least six months and a maximum of one year.
