The Specialist Physician in Radiology and Imaging, through a medical practice supported by an educational methodology focused on problem-solving, characterized by being trained to provide quality professional care to the community in any national and international scenario of interest.

The duration of the Specialty in Radiology and Imaging is 4 years.

Objective

To prepare specialist physicians in Radiology and Imaging with an academic training that includes specialized knowledge, techniques, and diagnostic imaging procedures, including conventional radiology, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine; with the ability to correlate an imaging study with the patient's clinical manifestations, skillfully using cutting-edge technology to establish diagnoses that support therapeutic management, developing a professional practice with the highest standards of patient care and safety; coordinating with the multidisciplinary health team.
