Description

UDEM’s bachelor’s program in Law and Finance (LDFN) allows you to pursue a degree with a concentration in the financial area. Throughout your studies, you will take more than 40 courses whose content deals with Legal Sciences and more than 12 courses with content from the concentration in Finance. Out of the courses that make up the curriculum in this program, more than 15 are practical in content and Catedra Laboris, linking you to the professional environment.

As part of this academic program, you will develop as a jurist in law who is prepared not just to litigate, but also to practice within the multiple facets of the Law.

Additionally, the concentration in Finance will specialize you to face the day-to-day challenges experienced in the financial system and the stock market.

Furthermore, you will face real-life situations in the Legal Skills Room (Oral Trials Room) and you will put into practice the theoretical knowledge by doing a two-semester internship either in the public sector or in the private sector.

Objective

You will be trained and educated as a lawyer who is prepared to face the ever-changing conditions of the national and international environment with an intellectual training in the main legal areas and a culture that enables you to interact in an interdisciplinary manner and assertively contribute to the solution of legal problems with the hallmark of a comprehensive humanist education based on values.

You will have a concentration in Finance, which will allow you to understand the legal problems and trends of the financial market and corporate finance in order to participate in strategic decision-making in organizations.

La carrera de Derecho y Finanzas estudia los conceptos legales y financieros para litigar y ejercer el Derecho en sus múltiples facetas. La carrera de Derecho y Finanzas está diseñada para formar juristas especializados en el sistema financiero y el mercado de valores.

¿Cuántos años dura la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas?

Cursar el plan de estudios de la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas en la UDEM tiene una duración de 4 años y medio, compuesto por 9 semestres, con un total de 58 materias a cursar.

El programa académico de la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas ha sido creado en colaboración con expertos en el área y tiene el objetivo de formar jóvenes que se conviertan en profesionistas listos para ejercer el derecho en sus múltiples áreas y afrontarse a los retos del sistema financiero.

¿Qué materias se ven en la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas?

La carrera de Derecho y Finanzas tiene materias de áreas requisito, electivos/concentración, de Prácticas y Proyecto de Evaluación Final (PEF), entre ellas se encuentran: Derecho procesal civil, Metodología en la investigación jurídica, Finanzas corporativas, Gobierno corporativo e Información financiera en los negocios.

La Universidad de Monterrey cuenta con un excelente plan de estudios para la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas, ya que está diseñado para permitirle a los alumnos decidir el camino más adecuado para enriquecer su curriculum. 

¿Qué se hace en la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas?

Durante la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas se estudia las Ciencias Jurídicas para brindar soluciones a diferentes problemáticas jurídicas. Así mismo, los futuros egresados desarrollan sus habilidades de defensa de las normas constitucionales, sus capacidades de comunicación escrita y oral para la argumentación y presentación de discursos. Todo con un respeto hacia la vida humana y los derechos fundamentales. En la UDEM los estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas tienen la posibilidad de vivir experiencias profesionales por medio de dos prácticas durante dos semestres en el sector público o privado, además de tener la opción de intercambios al extranjero.

La UDEM también ofrece prácticas en talleres y laboratorios para la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas como la Sala de Juicios Orales y la oportunidad de participar en actividades de valor profesional, como concursos nacionales e internacionales. También podrás formar parte de grupos estudiantiles de impacto social, además de ser invitado a diversas conferencias y eventos con ponencias de figuras relevantes en los ámbitos políticos y sociales, como son los eventos que realiza el Instituto de Estudios Políticos de la UDEM, con invitados como la Lic. Guadalupe Taddei, Consejera y presidenta del INE.

¿Qué hace un licenciado en Derecho y Finanzas?

Un egresado de la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas es un intelectual capaz de destacarse en juicio y proponer soluciones a conflictos haciendo uso de métodos alternativos. Así mismo, puede proveer soluciones a problemas relacionados con el derecho corporativo y financiero de una manera ética. 

¿Dónde puede trabajar un licenciado en Derecho y Finanzas?

Un abogado, egresado de la carrera de Derecho y Finanzas, tiene la posibilidad de trabajar en empresas de diversas industrias nacionales e internacionales, algunos cargos son: Abogado, Magistrado de Tribunal, Litigante, Juez, Fiscal y Ministro de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación.
